I love this Estes quote. It's almost a personal mantra for me whenever I think I might not be able to handle something. My grandma always read the 23rd psalm, but that would only make me feel more miserable, as it is precisely the shepherd and the sheep that are creeping me out. I only feel strong when I remind myself that I am strong and loved and beautiful as a human, not as an ungulate.
